Eya Bantu assisted Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality to restore electricity in Queenstown. A technical problem on one of the town’s main transformers lead to a large part of the town being without electricity for twelve days. The incident happened on the 26th of September and emergency work started immediately. Eya Bantu staff worked through the night and electricity was eventually restored on the morning of 8th October.
